Looks like the elusive swing voters picked Edwards as the winner of last night’s debate. (Roughly 40% for Edwards, 30% Cheney, 30% a draw.) A win by decision was all Edwards needed to do, so a slightly-better-than-Bush performance by Kerry in the next two debates might be all the Dems need to seal this one up. If the first debate is any indication, Kerry should pull that off easily. Here’s hoping.
