This week the Arby’s Oven Mitt learns that he doesn’t have a nose. Panic ensues. Upon looking in the mirror to behold the horror that is his nose-less face, he discovers that he has no ears. Panic ensues (again).

I think that this is one of the cutest commercials I have ever seen. I normally hate commercials and get sick of seeing the same one repeated over and over again but the oven mitt is the cutest one ever. No matter what others might think, I love it and so does my husband, who like me stops whatever he is doing to watch it. We could be in the middle of a discussion but we stop to watch it. Keep up the good work oven mitt and don’t stop being you. Hope you get your ears soon.
Don’t understand why Oven Mitt is getting such a bad rap in the media–especially Ad Age. Face it, he’s the best fast food spokesperson since Dave Thomas. I think he’s a cute little guy with a great personality–kind of a combination of Jim Carey’s enthusiasm and Woody Allen’s trepidation. I’m surprized Arby’s hasn’t offered real Arby’s Oven Mitts as sales promotional items. We’d LOVE to have one around our kitchen!

Arby’s oven mitt is obnoxious…….the voice makes makes me angry. When the commercial comes on I frantically search for my tv remote and mute it.
I don’t know which commercial that I dislike more oven mitt or glad wrap…someone please remove that womans vocal cords.

I have always hated Oven Mitt and strongly believe that he should be fed to a pack of wolves. I hate him so much that i promptly burned all my oven mitts just so they wouldn’t grow eyes and a mouth and complain about having no nose.

At first I really hated the oven mitt. I thought he cheapened a great chain. I’m partial to arby’s seeing how I have worked for one of the franchisees for six years. I thought the oven mitt made us out to be too much like McDonald’s etc. But, now I’ve heard so much positive feedback on Oven Mitt, and the commercials really are kinda funny, especially the one where he grabs a pan and is like “oh, hot” etc. Now my store is completely under the oven mitt craze. We found an Oven-Mitt-shaped- onion petal, we fried it and took pictures. I’m even starting to jump on the band wagon. :-)
I HATE HIM!!!!!!!!! I swear the more and mroe I see his commercials the more and mroe I hate Arby’s! My husband and I use to go to Arby’s frequently and get their 5 for 5 but now we can’t stand to even look at a Arby’s sign on the side of the road!!!! When I see his commercials I get sick to my stomach. I don’t know why ANY ONE in their right mind would like him. He is stupid and annoying, and like someone said earlier; they should use him as a real oven mitt and watch him burn. Seriously he must go. I think that the Arby’s “Oven Mitt” episodes are by far the dumbest commercials on TV. Isn’t anyone else annoyed that he doesn’t even have a name??? The advertising geniuses behind this campaign couldn’t think of anything better than “oven mitt”? What about Orville the Oven Mitt, or Kit the Oven Mitt? At least McDonald’s Hamburglar, Grimace and Mayor McCheese characters had some real depth and obsessive, intriguing and complex emotional attachments to burgers and fries.
I like the Oven Mitt, it’s rather unique in its own way. It can’t be compared with the Hamburger Helper hand, as it is in it’s own realm, has it’s own personality and purpose. The last “new” Oven Mitt commercial I saw was when the guys took him for a car ride in a convertible, and he blew off the guy’s hand. What happened to him? Did he end up on the street at the mercy of a street sweeper? Was that the end of the Oven Mitt commercials?

I love oven mitt! It’s the best commercial ever! It’s the only advertisement that I turn up the volume for. I even attended an arby’s and asked them if they sold oven mitt. I would like all the commercials so I could watch them one after the other, from the first commercial to the last. Whoever dreamed these commercials up is a genius.

Oven Mitt is my idol. His commercials have inspired me to be a great actor. I also enjoy arby’s food because Oven Mitt made me realize that their food is wonderful. Oven Mitt has shaped what is me. im a manager at arbys and i love the oven mitt. Alot of our customers keep asking us where they can buy arby mitt merchandise, the only place we found was at arbys.com. We buy key rings, cups, pins & shirts and give them to our crew.
