Harassment defined and explored
Greg at Geese Aplenty gives us the low down on his recent workplace harassment workshop:
There are also many subtler forms of harassment in the workplace. One that I have been personally subjected to is receiving off-color emails. It’s important to realize that just because you can change the font in an email doesn’t mean you should. Isn’t black text on white background good enough anymore? I’ve received emails from our manufacturing division that had alternating pink and green text–all set against “My Little Pony” wallpaper.

I was proud to learn yesterday that my almost-Representative John Lewis recently stated that Bush’s illegal spying on US citizens is worthy of impeachment. And because it didn’t come from my actual Rep, it might carry some weight. (Hat tip to Seth Miller.)
This Modern World has a handy cartoon guide to the last year in Bush Administration scandal. There are plenty of reasons for Congressional hearings, if only the Dems can take either side of the Hill next fall.

Almost time for WordPress 2.0

Good news for users of the blogging engine WordPress (and those thinking about switching to WordPress). Version 2.0 is in "release candidate" stage, and the final version is rumored to be arriving sometime later this week (in time for Festivus, maybe?).
If you’re wondering what the big deal is, you can read a short recap of the new features here. Best news that I can see is a revamped admin section, a built-in (and very simple) Wysiwyg editor, and better, easier style/template management.
