I acutally think you are downplaying the role our group is having at UUCA. We’ve made a big splash this past year, and the UUCA-elite have taken notice. Completely random people in UUCA come up to me with someone they’re pulling along saying “Hey! This is the group I was talking about. , I introduced myself to her during the service and she would fit right in with your group! Now let me vanish.” We’ve even gotten a couple of requests from parents of 20s/30s’ers for if they can get their kid to come and join us for lunch.

Not to mention we’ve got some 40 year olds in the group =D

We’ve had 30 at planned lunches during the fall (like when we went to Athens Pizza)

What we *do* need to do more of, probably, is to offer kid friendly events more often. I think we might alienate young parents from the group unknowingly. Thats probably something we should talk about at the planning meeting – shuld we do kid friendly stuff, or is that our role?
