I remember it seemed odd to you at the time, but you really had a great balance of influence in your spiritual life back in Putnam City. My last grandparent died when I was six (she was 85). I barely remember her — she went blind the year I was born. The grandfather I was attached to died when I was two. Also at 85. It would have been so neat to have grandparents when growing up.
